What is a Mini Notebook?

A mini notebook, which is also called netbook, is a smaller version of a typical laptop.

THE PLUSES

  • LIGHT WEIGHT
Typically weighs merely 2.5 pounds (compared to a typical laptop that weighgs on average of six pounds). If you’ve carried a heavy laptop around, then you know that the light weight is certainly a huge plus.
  • SMALLER FOOTPRINT
A mini notebook is less space-consuming than a typical laptop. Plenty of room to take all those DVD’s with you! :)
  • LESS EXPENSIVE
A nice plus is that an Acer Mini Notebook is typically less expensive than a standard laptop.
  • COMPATIBLE CPU
Because they come running using the Intel Atom processor, they are compatible and capable of running your applications like Microsoft Office and Windows XP.
  • BATTERY LIFE
The smaller size results in a smaller drain on the battery typically having the result of an overall improved battery life.

THE DISADVANTAGES

  • SMALL HARD DRIVE SPACE
A typical Acer Mini Notebook will contain 16 gigs or less of hard drive space.
  • GRAPHIC CARD MINIMAL
Don’t expect Call of Duty to run at maximum settings and look good. You can still play games, but the graphics card is not as powerful as a standard laptop, but it is great for surfing the Internet, downloading music, etc.

An Acer Mini Laptop is perfect for people that are on the go, but want something small, light, and portable.

There are many options available to suit your needs. Enjoy!
