An Acer netbook is a laptop computer that is being designed to operate portable and easy to use. The Acer Group creates the brands Acer, eMachines, Packard Bell and Gateway’s, and the 3rd largest PC maker, as well as the second largest for notebook computers, including its netbooks.Acer began with the Acer Aspire One, the first netbook designed to access a market that compete with Asus Eee PC computers began to. This original mini-laptop has the market by storm, and the Acer Aspire One Acer was the answer to the growing demand for small, lightweight laptops were portable and had a better battery life than conventional notebooks. An Acer netbook is now offered in one of the 3 screen sizes, instead of the original 8th 9 “screen. You can now opt for a slightly larger 10th 1″ or a 11th 6 “screen for a wider field of view. The first netbooks have often been criticized for its screen size, although all computers were so compact. A 11. 6″ screen to help give a sense of full-size on the screen, while maintaining the compact size and easy portability Netbooks are known. You can choose a 1024 x 600 resolution WXGA resolution screen, or opt for an HD WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution with LED backlighting. An Acer netbook weighs less than 3 pounds. If you’ve ever done a full-sized laptop that was not a very cost-featherweight model, then you can appreciate the idea of a laptop that weighs less than 3 pounds! You also have the choice in battery size, which will of course affect battery life. Models with a 3-cell battery costs less, but the 6-cell battery increases the runtime drastically.Acer Netbook Everyone has some kind of an Atom processor, a top processor from Intel that was done for small devices. Due to the portability of netbooks, “the people want to be able to use them at length on the go, and there’s not always a way to support them in every few hours connector. The Atom processor, the battery much longer because it uses much less electricity than other types of processors. popular Intel Core 2 Duo processor uses almost 10 times more energy than an atom processor, allowing the nuclear ideal for netbooks. You can choose a less expensive Acer netbook or decide to pay a little more by using different operating systems, hard drives and memory. Windows operating systems installed something costing more than a Linux operating system, for example. And you can choose hard disks in the range of about 80 to 250 gig gig with larger storage capacity, offering a higher price. Choose between 1 GB and 2 GB of memory – keeping in mind that more memory is always better, as they speed operation. You can choose from a variety of colors you choose to your liking, and then have fun with your Acer netbook for traveling, with its built-in Wi-Fi, web browsing, webcam and things like media player and photo viewer. These compact laptops, you can click on the one without the time or pay a heavy laptop to go thousands of dollars for a light model to calculate.

Dell is a late bloomer in the growing trend of mini-laptops with its 8th 9-inch Dell Inspiron Mini 9 (with a larger “mini 12″ in the series not included). It looks like any other Dell laptop – functional – and sometimes it is. There is nothing fundamentally new about the Mini 9, it has to have what most other 9-inch laptops, in short, Intel Atom 1st 6 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and a brilliant 8th 9-inch screen with 1024×600 resolution. Size wise, the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 is overall very impressive. It’s a hair larger than the original breath Eee PC 701 and slim enough to barely more than a kilogram of weight. This is easily the Eee PC 901 – our # 1 mini-laptop. Connectivity has the usual bells and whistles, Bluetooth and 802nd 11b / g Wi-Fi, although the inclusion of HSDPA is a big plus point. The only problem is you bound by a contract with Vodafone – there is no “unlocked” option, as the Advent 4213, so far at least. More on that later. . . Battery life, while better than the 3-cell MSI Wind, pretty bad compared to competing 6-cell Eee PC and similar. Dell promises to around 4 hours battery life, reasonable, but not a patch on the same size Eee PC 901 In an effort to keep the compact laptop that eats the battery in the keyboard area, the abolition of the whole range of F1-F12 keys, and leaving the depth of the keys fairly flat anyway. The keyboard does not extend to the edges either, so it looks no bigger. Overall, both the battery and the keyboard are slightly affected. The touchpad is nice, but with mouse buttons underneath, not on the side, like the HP Mini-Note and Acer Aspire One. Again looks disappointing, as with most Dell computers – or is it boring? The interface is boring and apart from the slight tapering at the edges – it is a field. And it is only available in black in Britain. Smart maybe, but for the consumer would be somewhat more imagination will surely love! This is particularly unfair, since some mini are 9 appears in the States with Dell Studio 15esque systems. But this would be a hit – a hit anyway black, compared with black, black. It is said that a white one is the way though. At a price of 299 for the 8GB model XP (or £ 269 for the 4GB Linux) It is superior to a little more expensive to sell something for Acer, though, thanks to Vodafone, you get it free on contract. The cheapest contract at the time of publication, is £ 21st 27 per month for 24 months – to put it bluntly, and undo all Vodafone marketing soft – the “free” Dell does it cost to just £ 600. Oh, and this is only download for broadband 1GB, enough (Vodafone claim) to 60 major installations and send 30 video clips, 600 e-mails and surfing for 30 hours. And do not think taking risk and trying your Dell Inspiron Mini 9 Vodafone abroad – € 9 99 per 24 hours, or £ 4 99 per MB, and perhaps make better use of the money. On the issue of mini-laptops on a contract, there are quite a few companies offering services – the Carphone Warehouse, for example. Currently, the prices seem quite frightening, even if you have a chip in the computer in the first place, and with relatively download speeds. Expect this as more and more improvement companies enter the market. The solid-state type memory and passive cooling (ie no fans) a pretty quiet machine, a nice characteristic. The store itself is a bit too small, 8 GB for the XP version – half for the Linux, Windows, and especially after pre-installed programs will be considered. Looks, keyboard and battery life complaints aside, the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 is a very good computer. As much as we slam Dell, they are a reliable and well-known brand – that can only be a good thing when everything downsizing. But apart from the Vodafone contract, there is another 9 “netbooks are worth, and even 10 inchers in the same price category, namely: – Asus Eee PC 901 – Our # 1 mini-laptop – Acer Aspire One – Samsung NC10 – HP 2133 Mini-NoteThe Vodafone option is certainly worthwhile if you want internet anytime and anywhere, even if download speeds are somewhat restrictive. If you can make it finanzwesen work, then it is an excellent choice. It is worth considering, however, before the signature, you get carried away by 24 months that several laptop manufacturers (Sony and Apple, the two different) and mobile phone providers are not yet properly on the netbook train – the better netbooks with 3G, unlocked ‘, may be equal to the his corner. Dell have managed to go and a big brother for the Inspiron Mini 9 – the Inspiron Mini 12 Is already in Japan, now in the United Kingdom with Linux, XP and Vista. problem is concerned, they try to produce with Vista, 1GB of RAM and running the same Intel Atom – awkward movement – have their top of the range ASUS N10 10-inch netbook on atom, with its big brother N20 on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Hp Mininote 110!

After the success of the Asus Eee, almost all major laptop manufacturers have with their own netbook think can. As a pioneer in ultra-portable laptops would you expect Asus, that the Netbook-dominated market, next, at least for years. Until the release of the Acer Aspire One, the ultra-portable shared by other manufacturers too short in many ways. Many of the models is called into question, or if it does not carry a high price with it.

The Acer Aspire One-to-date is a shining example of the “perfect” ultra-portable laptop. One of the strongest selling points, it is competitively priced. Costing about $ 350 a piece, is the Acer Aspire one one of the cheapest netbooks on the market. With a weight of only 2 2 pounds, the average unit comes with a 1 6-GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a 1 4-megapixel camera and 160 GB of memory. As far as affordable ultra-portable goes, this is as good as it gets!

The Acer Aspire One is available in 4 different colors and has a sleek and stylish design. It is built very solid and has a touch of chrome styling. The LCD screen is crystal clear with great contrasts.

The size of keyboards on netbooks have always been a major concern among laptop users. Almost none of the netbooks on the market today has a full-size keyboard, but the Acer Aspire One has come pretty close to with one. The keyboard side is 92% of the size of a normal keyboard, which is a pleasure to type.

The mouse pad has had on the other hand, a unique design. Click on the buttons are located on the side of the mouse pad () instead of down. Once you get used to this configuration, this distribution turns out to be quite comfortable.

What is a Netbook computer?

A Netbook is a new type of laptop computer, defined by size, price, horsepower, and operating system. They are small, cheap, under-powered, and run either an old or unfamiliar operating system.

Netbooks run either Windows XP Home edition or Linux (not only is Linux unfamiliar to many, but the versions of Linux on Netbooks are not the mainstream popular distributions). They do not run XP Professional, Vista, or OS X. Microsoft arbitrarily restricts Netbooks from running the Professional Edition of Windows XP. Likewise, Apple arbitrarily restricts OS X to Apple hardware and it has never played in the low-end realm that Netbooks occupy.* Vista requires too much horsepower to run well on a Netbook. HP has been the only company to offer Vista on a Netbook. The price, however, was so high that it’s debatable whether such a machine qualifies as a Netbook.

The market for netbooks — small notebook PCs with even tinier prices — exploded in the third quarter of this year, according to market researcher DisplaySearch LLC, as vendors aimed their wares at students during the back-to-school season.

The global market for netbooks, also known as mini-notebooks, was 5.61 million in the third quarter, up 160% from the second quarter, according to a statement today from DisplaySearch, an Austin-based research firm.

Acer Inc. displaced Asustek Computer Inc. (Asus) as the netbook market leader for the first time during the quarter, taking 38.3% of the market, compared to 30.3% for Asus.

Netbook global sales in the third quarter of 2008 hit 5.61 million units, an increase of 160% from the second quarter. Acer was at the top of the list with a 38.3% market share of all those units. With a 2008 sales level of 14 million units (over 2007′s one million sold), the market for netbooks is still relatively small, but the growth is explosive. The question is this: how much margin are manufacturers gaining on these small-priced PCs? In the latest quarter, HP was in third place and Dell was in fifth place, but Acer and Asus are completely stealing the show. If the netbook trend follows in 2009, Acer — the king of low retailer PC prices — should stay on top until this fad is over.

id like it to be the 11-13″ version. the acer ferrari one is the best so far that i have found. i also am looking for the one with the most usb ports, and the longest running time between charges. i think i have seen a 10.2 hour one so far. And really when you get that you just divide the time in two.
what is the best, fastest, easiest to use with fat fingers netbook /mini notebook with two separate mouse buttons under the touchpad?
