i have a acer aspire one mini notebook and i need help?

I have found an Acer Aspire One Mini-notebook with a webcam and I have looked everywhere for the webcam and it cannot and I have downloaded Skype and I still can not find where I would find it

I Am In College For Electronics Technology. Need Help Deciding On What To Get.?

I don’t have a job because I’m focusing on my school work right now, I get about $800 every 3 months for going to school.
I want something that I can keep notes on, maybe write programs on, and browse the net with.
I was looking at laptops, but they are expensive and they are big, I really wouldn’t want to lug a full size laptop around all day.
I was also looking at the Mini-Laptop like Acer and the others, I found an HP mini that was $300 at Walmart.
Also I checked out some PDA’s and I like those, plus those are hand held.
I don’t have the money for a monthly contract for a service like a phone or anything so I need something I can access the internet with without having to pay extra for it.
I was looking at a PDA that has Wi-Fi but i’m not sure if It will let you use it without a service fee or not.
anyone who has any ideas please help me.

i was thinking on getting me one of those Acer Aspire One mini laptops but i was wondering what i need to be connected to the internet when i travel. people say i need a router but i understand that is only good for like when u are at home and near the router but wat if i was to for example be on a train?
