Acer Aspire One Problem? Please Help!?

My laptop (an acer aspire one mini-notebook) will NO LONGER boot. when i try to start it up i get a message that says
“\windows\system32\config\system” is missing or corrupt”
it says to insert the cd that the computer came with to repair but the laptop does not have a disk drive! i’m not sure if it even came with a disk since there would be no way of inserting one.
is there any other way to fix it?
please help!
